It’s fantastic that more businesses are realising the power of vlogging to profile their teams, interview their clients – and promote their events.

Our team at Quest PR is investing in upgrading its equipment as more small and medium sized enterprises commission our expertise as former TV reporters to help them produce great vlogs.

We’re also training companies to do it for themselves – with great results.

There are some great effects that can be achieved with vlogs by using packages such as Movie Maker. You can see some of them in our latest Quest team vlog.

Before I start, this is not a Luddite speaking. I may be a journalist who was trained in the old values of print media, but I welcome much of what the social media revolution has brought to our industry.

In any case, I was part of it. Nearly ten years ago now (I shudder to think how time has gone by) I was a member of the team at Ananova, a groundbreaking website that encouraged interactivity long before most organisations (the BBC included) had even thought of the idea.

Following our recent 12-step plan on how to vlog Quest PR is launching a hat trick of social media training courses Leeds and Harrogate.

The first of our programmes is a two-day video blogging session which teaches you in front of and behind the camera techniques – as well as how to film, edit and upload your finished film onto Youtube. All this is mega useful to help drive your sales and accelerate your SEO.

Next on our menu are half-day blog writing courses – at the end of which you’ll be compiling a powerful content plan, writing great copy – and posting comments on your clients and prospects blogs.

And last, but by no means least, our social media strategy taster sessions give you an excellent insight into how social media turbo charges your marketing and strategic business plan.

Check out details of our courses and dates on our website or contact me on sue@quest-pr.com to book or for more information. I look forward to hearing from you. In the meantime, see our video for client feedback.
